Test natural halloween make up

Children love Halloween and any occasion is welcomed to do their best face paints! However, if we can avoid caking their faces with industrial products, endocrine disruptors, heavy metals and other allergenic perfumes, then all the better! Here's a fun and cost-effective homemade recipe that you can make with the kids.

To create a verryyyy terrifyiiing Halloween make-up, you will need :

  • 1 tablespoon of rice flour (or mixed rice)
  • 1 tablespoon of chalk powder (if you’re going for a ghastly white effect)
  • Water
  • A jar
Colors:
• Beetroot juice for red (ideal for a blood or vampire dark circle effect)
• Turmeric for yellow; dissolved in a little water
• Spinach juice for green
• Vegetable charcoal powder for black

Add the water to the rice flour and chalk powder, then mix until an even mixture is obtained.
Add the colours of your choice to the different jars, according to the desired shades.

How to remove the makeup ?
Water and soap, with a vegetable oil (jojoba, argon, etc.). You can also apply the oil before the make-up to both prep and protect the skin.
